About VWC Care Services

Support built on understanding

At VWC Care Services, everything we do comes from lived experience. We know what it’s like to navigate the system, care for someone you love, and try to find support that actually fits.

We didn’t just build a business — we built the kind of support we wished we had.

Why we do what we do

A personal story shaped our path

VWC Care Services didn’t begin as a business idea — it began as a deeply personal experience. While supporting a loved one with a disability, we saw firsthand how difficult it can be to find care that truly listens, adapts, and respects each person as an individual. We dealt with providers who didn’t understand cultural nuances, services that felt impersonal or rushed, and systems that often made things harder instead of easier. That experience gave us more than just frustration — it gave us perspective.

It showed us what good support should look like. That’s why we created VWC Care Services: to offer a service that gets it. One that listens properly, treats people with respect, and actually works alongside individuals and their families. We know the small things matter — being on time, communicating clearly, having support workers who feel like the right fit.

Our care is shaped by lived experience, backed by professional knowledge, and delivered with the kind of compassion that can only come from genuinely understanding what it’s like to be in your shoes.

Who we are

A team built on real experience

Behind VWC Care Services is a team that blends clinical expertise with a genuine, people-first mindset. We’re led by a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in health and disability care, ensuring that everything we offer is delivered to a high standard — not just in practice, but in the way people feel when they’re supported. From daily personal care to long-term planning, we approach each situation with care, flexibility, and respect.

We know that trust doesn’t come from generic support — it comes from showing up consistently, listening without judgement, and working with you (not around you) to find what works best. Our team members come from different professional and cultural backgrounds, but they share the same focus: to offer support that feels personal, empowering, and built with you in mind.

When you’re with VWC Care Services, you’re not just another name in a system — you’re someone we take the time to know, support, and stand beside.
